Capitol Hill Community 4th of July Parade
The 18th annual Capitol Hill Community 4th of July Parade is a local tradition that is considered one of Washington, DC's best events. Due to the ongoing public health emergency, the city will not allow a gathering as large as our traditional parade down 8th Street. However, we aren’t going to let that put a stop to our annual celebration of the Capitol Hill community and this wonderful nation.
We've assembled a virtual parade of short videos from many of the organizations who usually march in the parade — it's a new kind of celebration of our community spirit. This parade represents the hometown spirit of Capitol Hill — we're more than neighbors, we're friends! Happy 4th of July and we look forward to celebrating together in person in 2021!
